Red Post Wines is a Direct to Consumer E-commerce Website and Mobile Application that offers Boutique Small Production Wines from Northern California, specifically: Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino Counties.

Created in 2024 by Joe Henderson, Joe wanted a means to showcase wineries that didn’t have extensive distribution while producing high-end approachable wines that embodied the history, uniqueness, and breadth of wines of Northern California. "The intention was to make sure we were not trying to be everything to everyone", Joe states. It’s important to keep it simple when online wine selections can be overwhelming with options. We are nearing 1,000 wineries, so it's important to us that we bring a well-balanced selection of wines to the online world, as online wine-buying consumer selection can be a daunting task. Red Post Wines Tasting Advisory Board comprised of sommeliers, industry experts, winemakers, and growers have worked to find an elite group of wineries that we feel best support our Mantra.
The Red Post Wines Advisor Board has tasted over 100+ wineries and has asked only 16 wineries to allow us to showcase their wines. We currently offer less than 70 wines collectively. We continue to meet with wineries with the intent to scrutinize our offerings and keep our wine list limited. We will continue to provide the consumer with updated offerings. Our current winery partners only produce small amounts of each of their varietals. When it’s gone, we have to look to their next vintage. A nice continual flow of new wines being produced and offered to our clients is a great way to experience wine buying online.
Red Post Wines wants to share the uniqueness of each winery. We feel our winery partners bring forward their rich history, traditions, stories, and accolades that make each winery distinctive. We hope our online wine-buying clients will want to come out to Northern California and experience firsthand the wineries and their wines to see for themselves what makes each of our wine partners so unique.
