"Enjoy wine, enjoy life." This is Susie Selby's motto. Simple and true. Susie's hands-on approach to winemaking is the reason she continues to have great success in this competitive business for the past seventeen years.

Susie received her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University, and followed that with a master's in business administration from George Washington University. However, after a business trip to Napa Valley, Susie decided to reinvent herself and leave the corporate world behind to pursue her dream of joining the wine industry.

Susie worked through the corporate ranks, mastering each step along the way, from Tasting Room Manager to Cellar Hand, and eventually Winemaker. Susie uses the knowledge and experience she has gained along the way to focus on the smallest details. This has led her to create some of the most elegant wines around. Simply put, Susie loves to make wine that she likes to drink, and most of all, she loves bringing friends and family together through wine!

Matt Cohen is the dedicated owner of Sonoma Shipping, a premier logistics and fulfillment company based in Healdsburg, CA. With over two decades of experience in the wine and logistics industry, Matt has built a reputation for providing reliable, efficient, and personalizeds shipping solutions for boutique wineries across Sonoma County and beyond. His deep understanding of the unique needs of wine producers and enthusiasts alike has made Sonoma Shipping a trusted partner in the community. A native Californian with a passion for local wines and sustainable practices, Matt is committed to supporting small businesses and promoting the region's rich viticultural heritage. When he’s not overseeing operations, Matt enjoys exploring Sonoma's scenic vineyards, attending local wine tastings, and volunteering at community events. Known for his friendly demeanor and problem-solving skills, Matt continues to make Sonoma Shipping a pillar of quality service in the heart of wine country.

The Pitts family has cultivated quality grapes in the Russian River Valley since 1976. In 2000, Randy Pitts left San Francisco to oversee the family’s nine-acre ranch, learning farming techniques from his father and taking viticulture and enology courses at a local college. Randy’s homemade Zinfandel from the ranch’s back block was a delightful success, leading him to realize Zinfandel’s potential as one of California’s distinguished wines. Embracing their roles as growers and winemakers, the Pitts family released their first vintage in 2002 and continue to make their mark on the wine scene. Beyond Zinfandel, Harvest Moon handcrafts limited quantities of Russian River Valley Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, Petite Sirah, and Syrah; Dry Creek Cabernet Sauvignon; Alta Mesa Malbec; and Alexander Valley Sangiovese.

Richard Maifeld, Sommelier. Rich has been a lover of wine. He has traveled across the globe to taste wine and enjoy the hospitality of wineries on five continents. His visits to Champagne, the Rhône, Burgundy, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the Barossa in Australia, and of course throughout the US and Canada are highlights of his travels, on a quest to visit every major wine region. Rich regularly works the harvest in Sonoma County, where he maintains a home, to help friends and expand his knowledge of the wine-making process.

He became a sommelier in 2017 passing the examination of the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Born into a farming and entrepreneurial family in Napa Valley, Tyler has a strong connection to the land and a passion for wine. He began his journey in the hospitality industry before graduating from Vintage High School, fueling his love for winemaking—from grape to glass. A graduate of Napa Valley College’s Viticulture and Enology programs, Tyler also attended numerous wine tastings, sampling over 5,000 wines. In 2013, he launched his own label, Napa Native™, starting with a 2013 Single Vineyard Cabernet. Today, Tyler produces a diverse portfolio of wines, blending quality and innovation. He is also a strong advocate for education and entrepreneurship, mentoring students through Napa Valley College’s Entrepreneurship Program. With experience in roles such as tasting room manager and hospitality director, Tyler has worked with many wineries in Napa Valley. In addition to winemaking, Tyler has expanded into real estate and vineyard acquisition with his company, In The Vines Realty, connecting people with the beauty of Napa Valley. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Northern California and actively volunteers with organizations like the Autism Services Foundation and The Napa Land Trust. His commitment to stewardship and mentorship defines his legacy as a true Napa Valley native.
