Bella's Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 opens up with a lively combination of cranberry cocktail and fresh Spring rain aromas, building excitement and anticipation. Its condensed tannins and fruit essence creates an alluring, sweet taste that lingers on the palate, while its finish offers a slatey texture and delicate fruit aromatics. A magnificent bottling that reflects the seriousness and quality of this wine. Expertly crafted by Bella's winemakers and awarded 98 points at the North Coast Wine Challenge, this 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a tightly wound tannin core and sweet fruit essences. Hand-harvested from the Ehret Family's vineyard, this bottling is perfect for those seeking a serious, slatey palate with a touch of cranberry and warm spring rain aromas.
- VINEYARD NOTES: The fruit for this wine is harvested by hand from the Ehret Family’s estate Bavarian Lion Vineyards located in Knights Valley. The Knights Valley AVA is protected from the marine influence of the Pacific Ocean, making it the warmest AVA in Sonoma County. The vineyards on the estate range from 400-800 feet in elevation and are located just north of Calistoga and east of Alexander Valley, on the foothills of Mount St. Helena. The unique topography and soil content make this a most desirable area to grow Bordeaux and Northern Rhône grapes. The soil consists of well drained, very gravelly and sandy loams formed from mixed sedimentary and basic rock

- TASTING NOTES: The 2019 Bella’s opens in the glass with aromas of cranberry cocktail and warm, Spring rains falling on the crush pad. The tightly wound tannin core is like a sprinter in the starting blocks, having already “Ready...” and “Set...” and just waiting for the starter’s pistol to unfurl it’s muscular frame and “GO!!!” The condensed tannin and fruit essences fakes the senses into a sweet sensation. When drawn out on the finish though, this glacéed exhibition is extended into a slatey palate with lilting fruit aromatics that echoes the seriousness of this bottling.
