We are always pleasantly surprised to see how lovely these Rhône varieties interact with each other. They truly support, enhance, and marry beautifully together. The deep purple, blue tone is vibrant in your glass. Aromatics are playful, inviting, and follow right into the delightful taste of this wine. The bouquet and flavors are of black figs, blueberries, and a hint of savory anise that is reminiscent of Provence. Hints of black pepper, saddle leather, and baking spices also add to the character of this blend, as does the balanced acidity and silky tannins.
- VINEYARD NOTES: All varieties are estate grown. Grenache vines are a combination of clone 362, planted in 2005 and clone 515, planted in 2010. Counoise vines are Tables Creek clone planted in 2014.
