- VINEYARD NOTES: The weather was excellent in 2022, the dry winter was followed by a summer with mild temperatures. A heat wave over Labor Day kicked harvest in to high gear. Yields were on the lighter side due to smaller clusters and berries, but otherwise, the vintage was very high quality. 
 
 It was a bit unusual because of the condensed ripening of all of the different varieties at once. Our Sangiovese is hand harvested in the cool morning hours.
 
 The wine is fermented with 25% whole clusters. The wine is punched down 2-3 times daily. Upon dryness the wine is pressed, then aged in new and seasoned French oak barrels.
